Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Supply Chain (MSSC) Industry Forum

On Friday, 19th July, AustCham Shanghai's Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Supply Chain (MSSC) Industry Forum will host a Factory Tour. This event is in partnership with the SwissCham Shanghai and BritCham Shanghai. Members will visit the Butler plant of BlueScope in Songjiang, a global leader in metal coating and painting products for building and construction industries and a member of AustCham Shanghai, and the BOBST (Shanghai) plant, one of the world's leading suppliers of substrate processing, printing and converting equipment and services, and a member of SwissCham Shanghai.

7月19日星期五，澳大利亚商会-上海的制造、采购和供应链（MSSC）行业论坛将与中国瑞士商会（上海）和上海英国商会联合为成员举办工厂参观活动。活动将参观两家位于松江的工厂：建筑和施工行业金属涂层和喷漆产品的全球领导者BlueScope，以及全球领先的基材处理、印刷和加工设备及服务供应商博斯特集团。BlueScope是澳大利亚商会-上海会员，博斯特（上海）是中国瑞士商会（上海）会员。

AustCham Shanghai members are invited to a tour of the factory for Butler Songjiang plant, a business group of BlueScope. The factory is situated in Songjiang District, Shanghai, a significant industrial base in Shanghai, hosting numerous high-tech enterprises and manufacturing companies.

BlueScope is a global leader in metal coating and painting products for building and construction industries, providing vital components for houses, buildings, structures, vehicles and more.

Butler is a business group of BlueScope, a steel-making company in Australia which plays an important role in the world steel industry。Butler (Shanghai) Inc. was officially put into operation in 1995, with a total area of ​​74,000 square meters, of which the production workshop covers an area of ​​about 20,000 square meters. Butler Songjiang plant has a new production line for building structure system and green building material, including purlins, roof panels, and wall panels. The annual production capacity reaches 2 million square meters of building area. It is one of the leading suppliers of PEB total solutions in East China.

Attendees will also tour the Factory of BOBST in Songjiang District, one of the world's leading suppliers of substrate processing, printing and converting equipment and services.

BOBST (Shanghai) Co., Ltd is a subsidiary of the BOBST Group in Shanghai. With a production area of 33,000 square meters and over 300 employees, they are committed to the research, development, manufacturing, sales, and technical support of high-end packaging machinery and equipment, including die-cutters, high-speed folder gluers and hot foil stamping machines,etc.

博斯特（上海）有限公司创立于1995年，是瑞士博斯特集团的全资子公司，拥有33000平方米的现代化工业园区和近300名员工。致力于模切机、高速通用糊盒机、烫金机等高端包装机械设备的研发与制造，提供全方位的销售和技术支持服务。

Interested members are invited to hear about construction and investment in the Songjiang District as they tour the site. Also attending are government officials from Invest Songjiang and members of the SwissCham Shanghai and BritCham Shanghai.
