Simon Woods is the CEO and Executive Director of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (AustCham Shanghai). He leads the secretariate in all matters to provide value to members of the Chamber and broader Chinese-Australian communities.

Simon has lived and worked in Shanghai since 2016, and brings a wealth of operational, China and global management experience. Prior to his time in China, Simon resided in Australia, where he developed a diverse range of knowledge across industries including logistics, FMCG, security and finance.

Simon utilises his broad range of industry, global management, and China-Australia experience to ensure a strong strategic direction for AustCham Shanghai that maximises member value, encourages and strengthens relationships, and develops improved understanding of China and Australia.

Frank Li leads Zeekr’s global strategy and is responsible for driving the brand’s entry into international markets. Peter is a senior commercial leader who accelerates consumer brand growth in the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Melbourne, Peter is the Special Account Liaison at WPIC Marketing + Technologies, where he works closely with leading Australian brands to expand to Korea, China, Japan and Southeast Asia. Before WPIC, Peter led Asia market expansion for Australian health food companies such as Inner Health and Mingle.

Julia Illera is Research Manager at Euromonitor International, based in Sydney, where she leads the syndicated research programme for Australia and New Zealand. She oversees analysis of more than 30 consumer goods industries, spanning the entire value chain from suppliers and manufacturers to distribution channels and consumer behaviour. With nearly 12 years at Euromonitor, Julia has deep expertise in market and economic research across Australasia. Her work helps organisations identify growth opportunities, anticipate emerging trends, and align strategies with shifting macroeconomic and industry dynamics.

Michael Xu is a partner in AllBright Law Offices’ headquarter in Shanghai. He has been providing legal services for foreign-related matters for 16 years. Before joining AllBright Law Offices, he worked for Cuatrecasas, a leading European law firm.
