"Bridging the Employability Gap: Aligning Education, Talent and Industry Expectations" Education Industry Forum

AustCham Shanghai will host the "Bridging the Employability Gap: Aligning Education, Talent and Industry Expectations" Education Industry Forum on July 15th, Wednesday, bringing together human resources leaders, recruitment professionals, educators and business representatives to explore how education and industry can work together to better prepare graduates and young professionals for today's evolving labour market.

澳大利亚商会-上海将于7月15日（星期三）举办"弥合就业能力鸿沟：连接教育、人才与产业需求"教育行业论坛，汇聚人力资源负责人、招聘专家、教育机构代表及企业管理者，共同探讨教育与产业如何协同合作，帮助毕业生和青年人才更好地适应不断变化的就业市场。

The forum will feature two panel discussions. The first session will focus on graduate recruitment, examining the skills, experiences and qualities that help candidates stand out before graduation, navigate the recruitment process, and successfully transition into the workforce. The second session will explore what employers expect from young professionals after they enter the workplace, discussing the capabilities organisations value most, strategies for developing future-ready talent, and practical advice on building a successful career from day one.

论坛将设置两场圆桌讨论。第一场将聚焦应届毕业生招聘，探讨毕业前应重点培养哪些能力与实践经验、如何在求职过程中脱颖而出，以及如何顺利完成从校园到职场的过渡。第二场将围绕企业对应届人才的期待展开，分享企业当前最需要的人才特质、未来人才培养方向，以及青年人才如何在职业生涯初期实现持续成长与发展。

Drawing on insights from AustCham Shanghai's Graduate Employability Survey and the practical experience of HR leaders and recruitment specialists, the forum will provide valuable perspectives on current hiring trends, employer expectations and workforce development. Participants will gain practical insights into how businesses identify future talent, evaluate candidates, and support long-term career success in an increasingly competitive employment landscape.
